Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs

Welcome to this month’s Blogorail Green Loop. Today we are telling you all about some of the best quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World.

earl of sandwich

As a thrifty traveler, I eat mostly at counter service places when I am at Disney World. One of my favorite places to get a quick and delicious meal is at is Earl of Sandwich. I know technically this isn’t a ” Disney Restaurant” but since there are no Earl of Sandwiches near where I live, this place always feels like Disney to me. This inexpensive eatery has various hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, grab and go sides, soups, salads and desserts. You can use your Counter Service or Snack credits here if you are on the Disney Dining Plan or pay out of pocket. The only Earl of Sandwich at Walt Disney World is located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. It is connected to Mickey’s Pantry and adjacent to the Disney Pin Traders Store. Earl of Sandwich is open for breakfast at 8:30am everyday in which they serve breakfast sandwiches, omelets and oatmeal until 11am. Then their regular menu is available after that.

I’ve gone to Earl of Sandwich on several of my trips and have never been disappointed. I usually try to get something new from the menu every visit even though I have never been at breakfast time. Their signature sandwich is a roast beef sandwich called The Original 1762. My favorite choices are the Italian and the Chicken Caesar Wrap and I love their ice cream sandwiches! The vegetarian options are limited but still delicious. Their is indoor and outdoor seating so they have plenty of options to sit and enjoy your meal after a long day of shopping at Disney Springs.

What makes this place my favorite counter service place is because you get a hearty meal for being the least expensive counter service place at Disney Springs. The sandwiches, wraps and salads are $6.99 and under. Kids meals are $3.99. Breakfast sandwiches are $5.59 and under with the omelet being the most expensive thing at $7.99. It’s a great place when you are on a budget or paying out of pocket so it leaves more money for shopping!

I LOVEEEEEE Earl! It’s so delicious! They briefly had one by my office in New York City and it was like a little taste of Disney in my life. Alas, New Yorkers didn’t take advantage and it closed.

So sorry that it closed! I think my closest Earl of Sandwich is the next state up so it always feels like Disney to me.

We love Earl. So much so, in fact, that I once wrote a post called “We (Heart) Earl” LOL We’ve tried a lot of their sandwiches now, and I’ve had a salad or two. Oh, and the cheese soup is DELICIOUS! We go here at least once on every trip to WDW – sometimes twice! Great post.

Thanks Heidi! I usually try to make a stop every trip as well and will definitely try the cheese soup next time!

I completely agree! Earl of Sandwich is amazing and I’m so glad we have one at Disneyland as well! The holiday sandwich is so good, but in the summer, I usually go for the lighter caprese sandwich! The taste is great and the cost is even better!

I heard great things about the holiday sandwich so I’d love to try it sometime. Good to know there is one in Disneyland too!
