This year is Busch Gardens second annual Food & Wine Festival. Since I didn’t get a chance to go last year, I thought I would check it out this year. The Festival runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from May 23-June 29. The Festival itself is no extra cost and is included in your day pass. The food kiosks are set up around the park throughout the different countries. The countries that are included in this year’s line up are: Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia, Belgium, France, Canada, American Southwest, The Caribbean, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Greece. Each kiosk has a few main samples, with usually one dessert and wine and beer pairings. Each item is a la cart so you can choose whatever you want. The portions are small and meant to be that size so you can “snack” your way around the world. Your portions will look a little like this:
I snapped some quick pictures of the menu boards below so you can get an idea of the food selections and prices. If you want to “plus” your experience, their are insider tours and wine tastings that you can take for an additional fee. You can also attach cash or a credit card onto a wristband that you can pick up at the Welcome Center. This wristband can be scanned at the kiosks to pay for your food. But those prices can add up fast so try to set a limit so you don’t end up with sticker shock at the end of your evening! For more information on the Food & Wine Festival check out the Busch Gardens website here. There are only a few weekends left so go check it out!
